OIS Indorama Port Limited (OIPL) is a joint venture company between Oil & Industrial Services (OIS) and Indorama Eleme Petrochemicals (IEPL).
IEPL is one of Nigeria’s biggest fertilizer solution provider, operating a fertilizer production plant with a production capacity of 4000 metric tons of nitrogenous fertilizers per day. Aiming to be self-reliant on urea exports and import/export of various type break-bulk and containerized cargo for OIS, OIPL partnered with Lubrik to construct a port terminal.
The project involved the design and construction of a multi-purpose and functional port terminal in Onne, Rivers State. The terminal consist of a multi-purpose jetty, facilities for truck unloading, material handling, storage and ship loading equipment for urea, the break-bulk warehouse, container storage yard, administrative buildings and multitude of service buildings for terminal activities. Duration of the project was 33 months.
